Technics EA1
The Technics EA1 will provide an exciting beginning to your musical enjoyment in a small package.

The amount of variety packed in to such a small instrument is not only surprising but also very well chosen as there seems to be nothing there that is just for the sake of it. It has far more quality sounds and features than you would reasonably expect on such a compact entry level instrument and is an ideal instrument for beginners of any age.

The EA1s neat dark appearance houses a fully stocked locker of clear tones delivered with a punch! These are excellent quality and take a middle of the road approach to give maximum appeal. There are no heavy duty synth sounds, chopper bass or house/rap rhythm patterns and accompaniments but you are able to play a wide range of full orchestral and popular contemporary music as well as being able to whip up more than a decent big band with a brace of solo instruments. You can also simply use its excellent organ tones and still not exhaust its variety. The main acoustic piano and electric piano have a superb tone.
The 48 accompaniments and rhythm patterns are highly enticing. Spread across 12 broad categories each one has four variations plus the usual intros, endings, variations and a choice of fills. Great fun to work with. As well as the one finger and fingered chord modes there is a pianist chord mode which analyses the harmony created across the whole of the lower keyboard. The patterns take the same approach as the sounds with something for everybody, there's even an Ethnic section of Asian sounding patterns.
The EA1 has five panel memories for your own settings plus One Touch Play. There's also One Touch Registration which gives you 50 superb preset registrations to play with.
The EA1 includes the ability to have four different Techni-Chord voicings, digital reverb and separate effects (pre-selected for individual sounds).
The Footswitch is easily programmed over a wide range of features
On top of all this there's a step time chord sequencer, keyboard percussion and a very detailed and copious MIDI specification.
